TeleBeacon Interfaces -
Onboard
The
following external (physical) interfaces are available onboard the standard
TeleBeacon:
• 1 x Presentation Port,
RS232, 38400, N,8,1, no-flow control;
• 1 x Auxiliary Port, RS232, 1200, 2400,
4800, 9600, 19200 or 38400, N,8,1, no-flow control (Baud rate user selectable);
• 4 x Telemetry Analogue Inputs (A1, A2,
A3, A4)
• 4 x Telemetry Status Inputs/Outputs (A1,
S2, S3, S4)
• 1 x GPS 1pps / Off Position Indicator

• Analogue resolution is a 10 bit value,
range 0 to 1023.
• Voltage input range is 0 to X Volts (X
usually not > 20V, but not necessary restricted).
• Each channel can have a different input
voltage range, depending on the third-party interface
equipment (viz. LED
Flasher, Battery, Solar Panel, Tidal height
measuring instrument, etc.)
• Each analogue channel’s voltage range is
determined at pre-installation / installation time.
