AIS Developer Studio - Software Operational Utility Description

ADS is an software operational utility, that can assist with the  development of AIS application, AIS product, as well as the manufacturing of AIS products.

ADS provides multiple features. When used with the AITS-R or PMG1, it is a powerful operational tool. API’s (application program interface) are provided for both AITS-R and PMG1 interface control.

ADS provides an one display program solution, where the product can be monitored and controlled and the EUT (equipment under test) being monitored at the same time.

ADS displays AIS NMEA messages !—VDM and !—VDO for both control product and EUT. The respective performance on AIS1, AIS2 and DSC channels is displayed.

 

 

 

ADS features include:

  • Menu driven

  • Real time viewing

  • Viewing performance on AIS1, AIS2 and DSC channel

  • Timeline monitor, visualizing the performance on AIS1 and AIS2

  • Display decoded AIS messages (message filter)

  • Save and retrieve files

  • Pseudo EPFD generates required sensor data, including NMEA GGA, RMC, HDT, GBS and ROT sentences

  • Ship Static Data (SSD) editor, for Class A, Class B and AtoN (as applicable)

  • Voyage Static Data (VSD) editor, for Class A, Class B and AtoN (as applicable)

  • Generate AIS VDM and VDO messages

  • Generate AIS VDL messages 1 to 24A/B

    • Assigned Mode Command (message 16) editor

    • Data Link Management (message 20) editor

    • Channel Management (message 22) editor

    • Binary and Text Message editor (message 6, 8, 12, 14)

    • Load Generator – generates up to 450 VDL targets (messages 1, 2 and 3)

    • Mobility Generator - simulates 5 AIS targets (messages 1, 2 and 3)

  • VDL Test Signal Generator (Class A, Class B and DSC)

  • API’s provided for AITS-R and PMG1 interface control.
